Nefertiti Necklift

The Nefertiti Necklift is a procedure that redefines the elegant lines of the jaw and neck for a youthful, tighter, more contoured appearance without surgery.

What is it?

This is a new technique where multiple injections of Botox are placed along the lower jawline, as well as down the side of the neck along the platysma muscle. Nefertiti lift is possible with Botox or Dysport to improve the definition of the jawline, re-balance the underlying muscles and provide ‘lifting’ in the neck and jaw area.

Having a well defined jawline, with a long neck has been a sign of beauty since the time of the Egyptians. This new procedure which creates a well toned, smooth neck, and lifted jawline was named after Queen Nefertiti, whose bone structure continues to be admired in modern times.

The Future

The Nefertiti Lift works by relaxing muscles beneath the jaw which contribute to a downward pull along the jaw.  Once these muscles are relaxed, the net effect is an upward pull from facial muscles, creating a younger looking jawline, neck and face. For a lasting result, the treatment needs to be repeated every 3 to 4 months.

Although most of the patients are very happy with treatment results, the off-label use of botulinum toxin A is not a replacement for surgery and definitely not a “face-lift in a bottle”.

Please note that some patients who don’t require or are not a good candidate for the treatment will be advised of this during the consultation process, and treatment might be declined to avoid disappointment.

Nefertiti Lift costs rang between $250- $350.  On average, you will need about 20-30 units to achieve the desirable lift.

Nefertiti Benefits:

Who it works for: The ideal candidate for the Nefertiti Lift is a non-smoker with good skin laxity. Necks with excess fat and loose skin will require surgery to tighten them.

Recommended age range: The Nefertiti Lift is commonly used for patients in their mid-40s and older.

When will I see results?: Botox injections take three to seven days before the affected muscles become paralyzed. You may continue to see a gradual improvement for up to a month after a Nefertiti Lift.

How long does it last: Botox used for this process tends to last between three and six months. The results of the Nefertiti Lift slowly begin to decrease after the fourth month.

Key benefits of Nefertiti Lift: An aged neck can add years to a person’s appearance. The Nefertiti Lift reduces neck wrinkles, neck bands, and a soft jawline.
